For the best hikes in North Salem, try the Bailey Mountain Preserve, a more leisurely 3.3-mile trek south of town. Or, spend a summer afternoon at the Titicus Reservoir or bring the whole family to Peach Lake’s Lakeside Field Club. North Salem also has a handful of horse farms available. Summit Farm offers lessons, trail rides, and boarding, while Vail Farm on Peach Lake Road is a great facility for bridle trails and therapeutic riding programs.
